"One Heart at Liansan, Meet at the Summit": Company's Cross-Department Team Building at Liansan Island Concludes Successfully

2026-08-10

On the afternoon of August 8, the cross-department team-building activity themed "One Heart at Liansan, Meet at the Summit," organized by the Employee Home, kicked off at the Liansan Island Scenic Area in the Development Zone. Colleagues from ten departments—the Service Center, Procurement Department, Planning Department, Marketing Center, Quality Control Department, General Affairs Department, HR Department, International Business Department, Lvtai, and the Smart Store Operations Department—stepped out of the office and gathered between the mountains and the sea. Through a two-day, one-night get-together, they wrote a vivid footnote to cross-department collaboration.

Upon arrival at the scenic area, ice-breaking grouping quickly brought everyone closer. Colleagues from different departments were randomly assigned to four teams, which elected their captains; the unfamiliarity that once stood across cubicles and processes quietly melted away amid laughter and cheer.

Beach fun sports were the highlight of the day. In the tug-of-war, the four teams faced off in pairs; everyone gripped the long rope and pulled in unison, showing true teamwork at the moment of victory or defeat. The number game tested everyone's calculation and reflexes; the balloon-stomping segment drew endless laughter as colorful balloons popped one after another, mirroring the relaxation on every face, and cross-department partners quietly built trust through coordination. In the afterglow of the sunset, the aroma of the buffet barbecue and the whole roasted lamb lit up the night—outside the camping tents, singing and free-flowing conversation intertwined, and colleagues once known only "by name" became companions sharing drinks and laughter. That evening's activities came to a close with a brilliant fireworks display.

In the early morning of August 9, the team set out for Tiejue Mountain. Hailed as the "Qingdao version of Wugong Mountain," this free-entry peak at 595 meters above sea level became a stage to test the team's resilience. Everyone dressed in sports gear and climbed together; those with ample energy led the way at the front, while those running low encouraged one another from behind—no one fell behind, no one was pushed beyond their limits. "Meet at the Summit" was not a slogan, but a true picture of the hands reached out to help again and again along the climb.

This team building was a vivid practice through which the company conveyed humanistic care and lived its corporate culture. From the blue sea and golden sands to the top of the green hills, employees set aside work pressure, deepened understanding through collaboration, and discovered each other's potential amid challenges. Just as the event's theme aspires—only with one heart at Liansan can we meet at the summit. In the future, the company will continue to build cross-department exchange platforms, letting the flower of collaboration bloom freely in every gathering.
